To accomplish this, the following tasks must be completed: Selection of an appropriate site, taking into account wind availability, proximity to transmission lines, environmental impact, and the selling price of electricity at the location. Mechanical design of the wind turbine, including the blades, turbine, and tower. Electrical design of the generator, grid interconnection, and control system.
