PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TERHADAP MUTU AKADEMIK SISWA DI MA SYAFA’ATURRASUL BERINGIN BATU AMPAR TELUK KUANTAN

This study aims to look at the effect of character education on the academic quality of students in MA Syafa'aturrasul. Character education is to form, instill, facilitate, and develop positive values ​​in children so that they become superior and dignified persons. The method used in this study is a qualitative associative research method. From this study it can be concluded that character education is very influential on the academic quality of students, although the application of character education is not only the responsibility of the school but our shared responsibility both from home (family), school and the community environment. The application of character education in MA Syafaaturrasul has run according to the rules and the results can minimize negative behavior in students and provide significant influence on academic quality or academic achievement of students in academic institutions.
