The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of vaginal candidiasis in Moroccan women, to analyze their clinical and mycological characteristics, as well as to clarify the importance of etiologic diagnosis and the influence of non-albicans species in the occurrence of infection and risk factors. Material and method.This is a prospective study including 697 vaginal specimens from2006 to 2009.
