This dissertation responded to a perceived need for organizational development of the inclusion of gay men and lesbians in the workplace and examined reasons for an inclusive organizational culture. The purpose of this dissertation was to examine the relationship between antidiscrimination policies and an inclusive workforce. This dissertation also focused on antidiscrimination workplace policies that, if enforced by management, might be responsible for the development of inclusive work environments. Also examined in this dissertation was compliance with workplace policies for the purpose of improving productivity and morale, particularly in regard to gay and lesbian employees.
