The Department of Social Science, along with the Maryland Theta chapter of Pi Gamma Mu (International Social Science Honor Society), is pleased to announce the winners of the 4th annual UMUC Social Science Essay Contest. This yearly contest invites all UMUC students to submit essays applying social science theory to social issues and problems and is adjudicated by a panel of UMUC faculty members.
