PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU DALAM MENGGUNAKAN LINGKUNGAN SEBAGAI SUMBER BELAJAR MELALUI BIMBINGAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DI SDN 47 PANGIAN KECAMATAN LINTAU BUO KABUPATEN TANAH DATAR

The problem in this research is a lack of the environment utilization as learningresources for students in learning, it makes them tend to get bored in class. Onereason is the lack of teacher‟s competence in using the environment as a learningresource. This type of research is a School Action Research. The research procedureconsisted of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data wereobtained from the assessment of teacher competence by using the environment as alearning resource through the guidance of the principal at SDN 47 Pangian LintauBuo District of Tanah Datar. The results showes that the competence of teachersusing the environment as a learning resource through the guidance of the Principalwith the average results of the assessment was 95%. The principal activities inconducting guidance was 100%. The teachers activities was 94%. The results of theanalysis shows that the guidance of the Principal can improve teacher competence inusing the environment as a learning resource in SDN 47 Pangian Lintau Buo Districtof Tanah Datar
