This study aimed to analyze borax content in food and the effects of food processing on the content of borax in food. This research adopted a survey method. Food samples were obtained from the traditional and modern markets, elementary schools, and supermarkets available in the region of Pamulang Subdistrict. Sampling was done by using a purposive technique. Each sample was qualitatively analyzed for its borax content using a borax test kit.
