A recent experimental study shows that rubidium doped fullerids A3C60 (buckyballs with A = Cs) exhibits a rich combination of phases; insulating, magnetic, metallic, superconducting, and an unknown phase termed by “Jahn-Teller metal”. This experiment involves the study of emergence of phases upon changing the electronic structure by internal pressure by controlling the lattice spacing to mimic the external pressure, but not the external doping. Here I argue that the system is rich and complex enough to have exotic phases where this newly discovered Jahn-Teller metallic phase can be a novel superconducting state
