Üç Boyutlu (3D) Animasyon Filmler ve Etkileşimli Uygulamaların Okul Öncesi Dönem Çocuklarının Görsel Algı Gelişimi Üzerine Etkileri

This study is implemented to investigate the effects of three dimensional animated movies and interactive applications series on development of visual perception of five year old (60-72 months) children. The research has been performed in pre-test post-test permanence test experimental pattern with control group. In the study, 12 children (7 girls, 5 boys) in Test Group 1, 12 children (7 girls, 5 boys) in Test Group 2) and 14 children (8 girls, 6 boys) in Control Group were evaluated. ‘Personnel Information Form’ developed by the researcher, Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-3 developed by Martin (2006), adapted to Turkish language and validity and reliability studies completed by the researchers were used to collect and evaluate the visual perceptual skills of the children. In the study, the test groups watched eight episodes of three dimensional animated movies and performed the interactive applications with computer and worksheets every fifteen day for 16 weeks. Since the data of the research were not distributed normally, non-parametric tests Kruskal-Wallis, Friedman, (pairwise comparison for post-hoc), Mann-Whitney U and Wilcoxon tests were used to analyze the data. The results of the research show that on average and for Sequential Memory and Visual Closure subtests the visual perception of children who attended the training programs were significantly better than that of children who did not. The programs were found to generate significant effect on Test of Visual Perception Skills-3 and its subtests Spatial Relations, Form Constancy and Visual Figure-Ground.Bu çalışma okul öncesi dönem çocukları için hazırlanmış üç boyutlu animasyon filmleri ve etkileşimli uygulamalar serisinin 60-72 aylık çocukların görsel algı gelişimine etkisinin incelenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada ön test-son test-kalıcılık testi kontrol gruplu deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada Deney 1 grubunda 12 (7 kız, 5 erkek) Deney 2 grubunda 12 (7 kız, 5 erkek) ve Kontrol Grubunda 14 (8 kız, 6 erkek) olmak üzere toplam 38 çocuk yer almıştır. Araştırma verilerini toplamak amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve görsel algı gelişim düzeyini belirlemek için Martin (2006) tarafından geliştirilen, Türkçeye uyarlanarak geçerlik-güvenirlik çalışması yapılan Görsel Algı Becerileri Testi-3 kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada Deney 1 ve Deney 2 grupları sekiz adet üç boyutlu animasyon film izlemişlerdir. Bu süreçte etkileşimli uygulamalar serisindeki çalışmalar Deney 1 grubunda dokunmatik ekranlı bir bilgisayar ile, Deney 2 grubunda ise çalışma sayfalarıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Kontrol grubu ile herhangi bir çalışma yapılmamış, bu grup öğretmenlerinin hazırladığı program doğrultusunda eğitimlerine devam etmiştir. Araştırma verileri normal dağılım göstermediği için parametrik olmayan istatistiklerden yararlanılmış ve Kruskal-Wallis, Friedman, Mann Whitney-U, Wilcoxon işaretli sıralar testi ile parametrik olmayan çoklu karşılaştırma testleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda Görsel Algı Becerileri Testi-3 ile Sıralı Hafıza ve Görsel Tamamlama alt boyutlarının deney ve kontrol grupları arasındaki son test puan farkları deney grupları lehine anlamlı bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte Görsel Algı Becerileri Testi-3 ile Uzamsal ilişkiler, Şekil Sabitliği ve Görsel Şekil-Zemin alt testleri deney grubu puanları ile kontrol grubu puanları arasında anlamlı fark gözlenmiştir
