What makes something valuable? What makes something disposable? In this body of work I aim to take everyday materials to which we barely give a second thought and incorporate them into jewelry, something seen as inherently valuable. To me, art is about asking a question and searching for an answer. I ask, How can I make this material into something beautiful, something bigger than the material it started as
