A number of studies on salary discrimination in Major League Baseball (MLB) have been conducted to find out whether or not salary discrimination exists against black or Latin players. However, almost no study focuses primarily on Asian players even though the number of Asian players in the MLB is rapidly growing and expected to grow even faster in the near future. In my research, I examined how Asian players in the MLB are valued by comparing their salaries to those of other players. The result shows that there is not compelling evidence of salary discrimination against Asian Players.
