The flute, recorder, oboe, clarinet and saxophone are pipes coupled with a vibrating system. This paper describes the vibrating and feedback mechanisms of a Bessel horn, the effect of a specific reed on the system and the effect of a chosen bore shape on produced harmonics. I will usually use the clarinet and flute as prototypes
