Southeast Minnesota has abundant water resources. The geology of the region accommodates a great deal of groundwater that human and natural systems can exploit. The general population may not be aware of the resources, despite actively using them every day. The audio section relates to the listener some of the geologic and human processes that bring safe and clean water into the homes and businesses of people in the region. The written section outlines and reflects on the process of producing the audio section. Also available on Geology website
