The lack of consensus in the literature for the Demand for Dental Healthcare has raised many questions about the determinants of demand for these services. This paper relies on a 1989 national cross sectional survey of individuals to estimate the demand for dental healthcare. Regression results from this dataset show that all of variables targeted in this study were significant and that education, which was thought of as an unknown, had a significant positive relationship with the dependent variable dental visits. Although the R2-value for this model was not as high as anticipated, this study highlights many of the most significant determinants of demand for dental healthcare
