Transcript of interview with Dave Bivens, 10-07-2005

In his two interviews with Troy Reeves in August and October 2005, Dave Bivens discussed his time in the Idaho State Legislature. He served in the Senate from 1967 through 1974 and the House in 1993-1994. During his second interview, Bivens detailed the achievements of the WWAMI [Washington-Wyoming-Alaska-Montana-Idaho] Medical Education Program and talked about changes in political climate, as well as physical and organizational changes in the Capitol between the 1960s and 1970s and the 1990s. Bivens also talked about his position as Ada County Highway District Commissioner, a seat which he first won in 1998 and still held at the time of the interview.
