Abstract

In their two interviews with Keegan Poppen and Troy Reeves in September and November 2006, Idaho State Governor Jim Risch and First Lady Vicki Risch talked about their experiences working in the Idaho State Capitol building. The Risches spoke about the time from the 1970s through 2006. James Risch served in the State Senate from 1975 to 1988, and again from 1995 to 2002; as Lieutenant Governor from 2003 to 2006; and as Governor from May to December 2006. He succeeded to the governor’s office when Governor Dirk Kempthorne was appointed Secretary of the Interior.
