Abstract

A mini-charrette was conducted by the Harrison Price Company (HPC) for the Disney Development Company to determine if a performing arts center at Disney World was a sound idea and how best to do it. Performing arts venues in Ashland, Oregon and Chautauqua, New York were selected as frames of reference for a proposed new performing arts facility at Disney World in Florida. HPC drew conclusions from the charrette discussion and the perspectives are expressed in the report
