Historically, research demonstrates that mothers\u27 attitudes and characteristics of their parenting are intertwined. More recently, mothers\u27 perceptions of their children are becoming a new focus of interest. To further understand the relationships among mothers\u27 perceptions of their young children, their parenting behaviors, and their ratings of their young children\u27s behavior problems, this study examines the ratings of a diverse group of mothers who have young children. Correlational results of this study demonstrate that these variables are related in the anticipated directions.
