Information was collected from principals, secretaries and teachers regarding their perceptions of the elementary schoo l secretary\u27s role. Participants· were from three central Florida counties. The instrument for data collection was a survey form consisting of secretarial duties/responsibilities/attributes gleaned from a variety of sources. Participants\u27 perceptions were tallied by means of a modified Li kert Scale. Tallied responses were analyzed statistically in comparison to six null hypotheses which were proposed.
