The study primarily focuses on identifying location accuracy levels of A-GPS technology on smartphones in three environments; urban, rural and indoors. Two smartphones were used for this study, the 2014 model HTC M8 and 2011 model HTC Desire S. Since the HTC Desire S does not have ability to use GLONASS satellites in addition to GPS, unlike HTC M8, this study will explore whether or not the GLONASS ability actually contributes to better location accuracy.The research was conducted for 432 locations, which gave a solid number for this research to base the results upon.
