This research examines the ideological attitude of the press in the context of the mining accidents through the Soma mine disaster sample case and reveals the reflections on Zonguldak coal mine workers where Turkey's most important mining plant is located. The research was carried out on two basic parameters. Firstly, the rhetoric formed by the newspapers according to ideology after the event was tried to be analyzed and to be exposed in the context of how the attitude of the media is perceived by the miners. Another dimension of the survey is the questionnaire applied to Zonguldak coal mine workers by survey method.
