CARA PENEMUAN PENDERITA KUSTA BARU DAN TINGKAT KECACATAN DI PROVINSI LAMPUNG

In Lampung Province defect rate of new leprosy patients and leprosy patients age was > 5 % ( 6.9 % ), patients had experienced disability level-2, and 8.3 % children aged 0 - 14 years . The data indicate the presence of active infection sunber and delays due to delays in patient treatment were found.The purpose of the study, 1) knowing the characteristics of new leprosy patients , 2) patients with known relationship discovery method, and factor covariates new leprosy patients with disability, 3) disability known determinants of new leprosy patients, and 4) knowing the potential impact of variables on the prevention of disability case detection of new leprosy patients.Research using design cross-sectional studies, as a sample, lepers who live in the province of Lampung to the identity and state of the data has been recorded on a report pain P2 leprosy Lampung Provincial Health Department from 2011 until the second quarter year-2013. Data derived from P2 reports leprosy Lampung Provincial Health Office.The results of the study, based on the characteristics of patients have 09.00 % defect rate of 1-2 ; 91.70 % found passively ; 89.50 % MB type ; 64.20 % were male, and 83.00 % patients aged ≥ 15 Pathe bivariate analysis, covariate variables that showed statistically significant relationships were age (p-value = 0.02) with ROP = 7.78 ( 95 % CI : 1.05 to 57.79 ). Final multivariate model that describes the occurrence of new leprosy patients with disability main variable manner leprosy case detection, is an exponential function of the variable ways one variable case detection and covariates variabel of patient age. New leprosy probability patients were found to be passive and age > 15 years, has 1-2 levels defect risk was 29.54 %. Abstrak: Cara Penemuan Penderita Kusta Baru dan Tingkat Kecacatan Di Provinsi Lampung.Di Provinsi Lampung tingkat kecacatan penderita kusta baru dan penderita kusta usia anak masih > 5%, (6,9%) penderita telah mengalami cacat tingkat-2, dan 8,3% usia anak 0-14 tahun. Data tersebut mengindikasikan masih adanya sunber penularan aktif dan keterlambatan pengobatan yang disebabkan terlambatnya penderita diketemukan.Tujuan penelitian, 1) diketahuinya karakteristik penderita kusta baru, 2) diketahuinya hubungan cara penemuan penderita, dan faktor kovariat dengan kecacatan penderita kusta baru, 3) diketahuinya determinan kecacatan penderita kusta baru, serta 4) diketahuinya dampak potensial variabel penemuan penderita terhadap pencegahan kecacatan penderita kusta baru. Penelitian dengan studi cross sectional,sebagai sampel, penderita kusta yang berdomisili di wilayah Provinsi Lampung dengan identitas dan data keadaan sakitnya telah tercatat pada laporan P2 kusta Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Lampung dari tahun 2011 sampai dengan triwulan-II tahun 2013. Data berasal dari laporan P2 kusta Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Lampung.Hasil penelitian, berdasarkan karakteristik penderita 09,00% telah mengalami cacat tingkat 1-2; 91,70% diketemukan secara pasif; 89,50% tipe MB; 64,20% berjenis kelamin laki-laki, dan 83,00% penderita berumur ≥ 15 tahun.Hasil analisis bivariat, variabel kovariat yang secara statistik menunjukkan hubungan bermakna adalah umur (nilai-p = 0,02) dengan ROP = 7,78 (95% CI: 1,05-57,79). Model akhir multivariat yang menggambarkan terjadinya kecacatan penderita kusta baru dengan variabel utama cara penemuan penderita kusta, adalah fungsi eksponensial dari variabel cara penemuan penderita dan satu variabel kovariat (umur) penderita. Probabilitas penderita kusta baru yang ditemukan pasif dan berumur > 15 tahun, memiliki risiko cacat tingkat 1-2 sebesar 29,54 %. Dampak potensial besarnya kontribusi variabel cara penemuan penderita kusta terhadap pencegahan cacat penderita kusta baru 2,12 %. Kata kunci: Cara penemuan, Tingkat kecacatan
