Te social order plays a vital role in the process of economic development. The neoclassical economic models deal it as given. In fact, however, the social order isn\u27t given as precondition for a society. Now we can observe such a society as "failed state" where no authoritative government exists and only chaos governs the society. In such society they are unlikely to succeed for economic development. Economic theories of development thus far have taken account for only economic factors and neglected noneconomic ones. That is the cause of their failure to explain the conditions for economic development. The importance of noneconomic factors in the process of economic development is recognized by many economists in recent years. They take account for institutions in the development but still neglect the sources of social order. In this series of paper we will deal with the sources of social order.(to be continued
