The present study was undertaken to the preference of the customer towards services provided by the public sector banks and private sector banks selected Citiesof Gujarat State that is Jamnagar, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat. The main problem of the customers is they are not well aware of the services provided by their banks. The study also force on the customer perception that how the banking services can be improved. In this study researcher have been used both primary sources of data as well as secondary sources of data. During this research paper researcher came to know that both the banks are highly preferred by the customers but their preference is different up to some extent towards the services of these banks
