Phase relations in the system ZnFe_2O_4-MnFe_2O_4 in air have been determined by quenching technique. The following crystalline phases occur in the temperature interval studied in the present investigation (800 to 1,300℃) : spinel solid solution (ZnFe_2O_4-MnFe_2O_4); hematite solid solution (Fe_2O_3 with some manganese oxide dissolved in its structure); Mn_2O_3 solid solution (α-Mn_2O_3 with some iron oxide dissolved in its structure). Diagrams are given showing the variations with composition in dimension of the unit cell for ZnFe_2O_4-MnFe_2O_4 spinel solid solution and ZnFe_2O_4-Fe_3O_4-MnFe_2O_4 spinel solid solution
