Physical properties of malleable pure titanium, which was prepared in our laboratory by Hunter method, such as specific gravity, hardness, tensile strength, elongation, recrystallization temperature, transformation point, lattice constant, specific heat, expansion coefficient, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity and thermo-electromotive force were measured in order to inspect the previously published data. Corrosion tests were also carried out and it was found that titanium has high corrosion resistance for ordinary reagents but is corrosive especially in HCl and HF solutions. The electrochemical properties were also measured and as a result, titanium was found to be in passive state easily in phosphoric acid
