In order to study the effects of cold rolling and addition of a small amount of iron and magnesium on electrical conductivity and hardness of Cu-3mass%Ni-0.65mass%Si alloys, electrical resistivity and Vickers hardness were measured. Some of samples were cold rolled to 50% in thickness after solution treatment. The results showed that the cold rolling and addition of these elements enhance the precipitation rate of the Cu-Ni-Si alloys during aging, and they increase the hardness of the alloys
