Floating zone-melting method under reduced hydrogen pressure was applied for purification of iron and copper. Purification effect was estimated by residual resistivity ratio (RRR). RRR of starting material were 1000 and 2500 for iron and copper, respectively. RRR of purified specimen were approximately ten times larger than those of starting materials.
