El objetivo de este trabajo es conocer el nivel de ajuste académico y las expectativas de futuro de estudiantes de 1º de E.S.O. Nuestro estudio evidencia las relaciones entre aspectos motivacionales (expectativas) y adaptación escolar real. Se analizó una muestra de 355 participantes (11-15 años). Los estudiantes cumplimentaron autoinformes sobre adaptación escolar y expectativas de futuro y sus tutores aportaron información acerca de su ajuste social, rendimiento académico, implicación familiar y relación profesor/a-alumno/a, además de características sociodemográficas.
