Using the radioactive isotope Zr-95 as a tracer, experiments were carried out on the determination of zirconium by the phosphate method, arsenate method, basic selenite method and mandelate method, and on the separation of zirconium from iron by means of mercury cathod electrolysis and ion exchange resin. From the experimental results, it is recommended to precipitate zirconium as its phosphate after the separation from iron by means of mercury cathod electrolysis
