Raman spectra of a system of liquid ammonia and carbon tetrachloride have been photographed. By measuring the wave number and the change of intensity of the Raman lines of the mixed system, it was shown that the line 3212 cm^ of liquid ammonia was not probably due to association. It was also cleared up that ν_3 vibration of carbon tetrachloride was affected by mixing with liquid ammonia
