In the Arabic manuscript n.° 1077 from El Escorial we find an Abū Isḥāq al-Garnāṭī's (ob. 1183) work whose last chapter consists of the enumeration of twenty-two juridical rules: in four of them the andalusiyyūn did not follow Mālik's doctrine, and in the other eighteen they disagreed with Ibn al-Qāsim.
