The author argues that homily is not only an event to explain the Scriptures and relate them to the believers’ experiences in order to find God’s will in their daily lives, but a transformative experience for the preacher that it should be conveyed in an attractive, understandable, and influential way. One of the alternatives discussed here is the imaginative preaching. The setting of the imaginative preaching is the world of images, that is, the images living in the sphere of mind and heart.
