INTRODUCTION: Radial head fractures are the most common fractures of the elbow with an estimated incidence of 2.5 to 2.9 / 10,000 people / year. Radial head fractures are more common in women than men and most frequently occur between the age of 20 & 60 years. Undisplaced and minimally displaced radial head fractures typically occur as isolated injuries while more displaced and comminuted fractures commonly have associated injuries to the collateral ligaments and may have associated fractures of the coronoid, capitellum, or proximal ulna. In high energy trauma, dislocations of the elbow and/or forearm can also occur.
