BACKGROUND: Tuberculosis because of its increasing prevalence continues to be the major burden in our country. Inspite of the advanced studies performed in the field of medicine, it continues to be a major burden. Pulmonary tuberculosis is most common. Among the extra-pulmonary infections, lymph node involvement is the most common. It is the most common cause of lymphadenopathy in the developing countries.
