A pre experimental design one group pre assessment post assessment design was used to evaluate the effectiveness of bibliotherapy for reducing stress among hospitalized children in orthopedics department. Convenient sampling was done to select the children in orthopedics department. 60 Samples for the study were selected by using convenient sampling technique. Conceptual framework used for the study was dorothy E.Johnson’s bahavioural system theory (1980) therapy. Perceived stress scale was used to assess the stress level among children. Bibliotherapy was given as intervention.
