INTRODUCTION: Bronchiolitis remains one of the greatest clinical challenges in pediatric care. Bronchiolitis is a disease of lower respiratory tract that occurs in young children (below 2yrs) and caused by infection with seasonal virus such as RSV, influenza, Adenovirus, influenza and etc. It is a leading cause for the hospitalization of young children, associated with high degree of morbidity but low mortality (<1%). About 20% of infants in the United States get bronchiolitis each year and 2-3% of them require hospitalization. Children younger than one year of age are almost twice as likely to develop bronchiolitis. Currently there is no enough data to determine bronchiolitis rate in the developing and underdeveloped countries. ...
