Introduction: Diabetes Mellitus is a dreadful disease affecting majority of population worldwide. The estimated diabetes prevalence for 2010 worldwide is 285 million people corresponding to 6.4% of the world’s adult population. The study was done to identify the effectiveness of fenugreek seed powder in control of blood sugar level among Type II Diabetes Mellitus clients attending diabetic outpatient department in Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai. The main objective was to compare the pre and post blood sugar level in relation to intake of fenugreek seed powder among clients in experimental and control group. Methodology: The research design was pretest posttest design, by using simple random sampling technique, 60 type II Diabetes Mellitus clients. 30 in experimental group and 30 in control group were selected. 5 gram of Fenugreek Seed Powder was administered in early morning before breakfast for clients in experimental group for 30 days.
