A study to assess the effectiveness of video assisted teaching programme on knowledge of basic cardiac life support among school teachers in a selected school at erode district. The present study assessed the knowledge regarding basic cardiac life support among the school teachers and found they had inadequate knowledge. After video assisted teaching programme on basic cardiac life support there is a significant improvement in the level of their knowledge. The study concluded that the video assisted teaching programme was effective in improving the knowledge regarding basic cardiac life support
