Excipients and equipments choices will be significantly affected should solid dosage form technologies change in response to the unprecedented shifts in the drug discovery such as genomics. that lamivudine can be successfully formulated as fast dissolving tablets using various superdisintegrants in different concentrations by direct compression method. The formulation containing 10% of crospovidone as superdisintegrant was found to be outstanding than other formulations in terms of disintegration time and rate of dissolution
