Introduction: Middle ear effusion and Atelectasis with Eustachian tube dysfunction is a multifactorial multifaceted disease that manifest in the middle ear, mastoid and Eustachian tube. Understanding the mechanism of this disease, the presentation and issues involved in its management allows for the most possible outcomes. Surgery for the atelectatic tympanic membrane ranges from ventilation tube insertion to several others. In this prospective study we used conchal cartilage graft to reverse atelectasis and to repneumatize the middle ear in atelectatic ears. Long term results has to be tested in time future.
