This paper presents experimental result of mode shape effect in automobile braking system. Experimental of modal testing and analysis is done by given an impact by hammer from point 1 to point 24 of the disk brake where the accelerometer is positioned. The average data is recorded and a three dimensional graph is plotted. From the recorded vibration, the modal parameters of this disk brake are determined from the mode shape developed using numerical and experimental approach.
