Tyler Alston was top man -for the Rockets with 20 points followed by Wes Rice with 14, Jim Matkin 12, and Cal Alston 5 points. Pour boiling water over dates, add shortening, orange juice, rind, beaten egg, vanilla a.nd walnuts. Mix together. Sift in dry ingredients. Slight­ly fold and nix together. (Do not overmix). Raymond’s annual bonspiel wouhd up over th'! weekend with Eric Hohn’s rink from Magrath capturing top honors. The rink, Eric Hohm, Bob Wells, Kirt Lissei with Iawrence Elhert I skip. They won the first two events, Mercan*» tile and Garagemen’s, to go through the en­tire ’spiel undefeated. They compiled a per­fect 10-0 record in winning aggregate honors , In the Garage Men’s competition they defeat­ed the Dan Mai rink, himself, Garth Coleman, Jack Hocking with Dan Rusler skip. It took a pick up truck to bring home the money and the trophies. There were 31 rinks in the spiel. The l^grath Bonspiel is now in it’s four­th day. Outside rinks from Cardston, Ray­mond and Warner. The annual banquet was held Wednesday from 4 to 6 in the Assembly Hall, The ■ Women’s Curling Club catered. A very whole­some dinner which was- much appreciated.
