All seats $3.00. This year's tattoo honours the veterans of the 1939-45 war, & promises to be very colourful. Performances by the AIR COMMAND BAND of Winnipeg. The Band of THE KING'S OWN CALGARY REGIMENT, our own SPIRIT OF ALBERTA BAND, and the massed pipes & drums from the legions in Lethbridge, Calgary, & B.C. THE NATURE GONSHAANCY OF CANADA and the Town's people of Magrath & Welling. The support from Canvasers and Town was overwhelming considering the economic conditions of today. Over $2900.00 was raised to help the Canadian Cancer Society fight against cancer in the areas of research, education & patient services. This will give a considerable boast to the Lethbridge Unit’s objective for 1995 of over $200,000. Our 30 canvassers did a complete coverage of the Magrath - Welling areas and this is also an objective we strive for every year. Also thanks to the Store News for giving us support & publicity for the month of April to raise awareness of Canadian Cancer Society. Thanks Everyone.
