Back in July, he submitted a song that he wrote and sang, to a contest sponsored by 95.5 Country Radio in Lethbridge called "Star Quest". It was accepted and Trevor sang on the 95.5 Country Radio Stage at the Exhibition Grounds in Lethbridge on Wed. Aug 6. He sang three of his own compositions & gained a spot in the finals on Sunday Aug. 10. Trevor sang two of his own compositions "Just You and Me" and "Teach Me To Learn". His presentation won him top spot in his category. The prize given is a:two song recording at Aardvark Studios in Lethbridge at a later date. The support froin everyone was much appreciated, especially the support from the folks from Magrath, Del Bonita and Lethbridge Trevor has an 11 song tape & CD that should be completed by the end of August. These songs were all composed by Trevor. Also to note, this weekend Aug. 16th from 8 p.m. to midnite, Trevor will be entertaining you all at the Del Bonita Community Hall at one of their dances. At the Provincials in Calgary, she won 2 silver medals for high jump & triple jump. Way to go Ginger!! She won a medal in each of the four events she entered. These events are quite difficulty as sometimes she competes against girls a couple of years older than she is. She won silver in "hammer throw". The she cleaned up in shot-put, discus and javelin, winning a gold in each event. She has done very well this summer season. She represents the Lethbridge Track & Field Club at these meets. She also represented the M.D. of Cardston earlier in the Summer Games, held in Coaldale & Lloydminster. Good luck to you, Shauna!!
