The Oral Frenoh Class and the French 1 Class presented the program. Two of the young ladies (in Grade IX) decided to have some fun; so when Harold Evans brought the Home Ec. groceries, they held the door. At HOME ECONOMIC & SHOP DISPLAY Manual Arts at the High School have reaoh-a high standard of perfection as evidenced the large display of handiwork exhibited the High School Gym Wednesday afternoon and evening, The girls displayed their sewing done during the year, which consisted of dresses, Jiouse coats, cooking aprons, pajamas, slips, nighties, skirts, aprons, blouses and fancy work, also knitting. It was all very neatly done. Over 130 articles were on display, but 56 articles of clothing were not exhibited. Very excellent pieces of furniture were exhibited by the shop boys. They have made everything from dust pans to cedar chests and novelty reading lamps. In metal they :have done etching, chasing, saw piercing, spinning, raising and plannishing, but students have been encouraged to do combin­ation projects and some had used metal, wood and catalin in one article. A dainty bedroom set, made by the Grade XI Home Economics Girls, was divided into eight pieces and won by the following: Marie Thomson, Mrs, Mae Coleman, Elsie Myatt, Mrs, The result was as follows^Geo, Ovard, Mrs. J.
