Gaylene Lang came out on top with an 18 hols score of 80, which included 3 birdies, and was winner of the Magrath Trading Co. Trophy for low gross. Shirley Pederson and Diane Button presented prizes to: Sheri Hohm and Betty Corbert for the longest drives; least number of putts to Jan Okamura of Lethbridge; and many other white elephant and draw prizes. The weather-man cooperated, too. Well organized games preceded an excellent beef dinner served by the family of Frank & Mae Sabey. A short program, clean up, reminiscing, water skiing, swimming, and a short business meeting followed. At 5:00pm all gathered again at the Fish Pond for the Watermelon bust presided over by Blair & Margaret Sabey. About 140 relatives attended from Alberta, B.C. and Minneapolis. All had a great day.
