A A & Adk & Magrath Wolverines played there 1st game on Sat. Sept. 2nd against the Coaldale Bears, we lost 17-8 but this is only our first game. Come out and cheer the Wolverines this Saturday Sept. 16th at 1 p.m.they will be playing against the St. Francis Bombers ****** Band Director, Jerry Chatwin, is planning a band trip to Idaho for a competition in October. Every morning for the next 5 weeks students will be rehearsing early morning and other selected times. All members are excited about the trip and will practice hard to represent our town. SCHOOL NEWS: This weekend there was excitement in the air as the Magrath School hosted the pre-season volleyball tournament. Teams from surrounding schools came to compete. Our 2 Magrath teams were also involved. The Zeniths made it to the semi-finals & then were eliminated by Winston Churchill. The Panda team this year includes Danielle Rollingson, Twila Grusendorf, Angela Miller, Holly Leavitt, Sabrina Kinder, Mandy Scott, Lydia Christensen, Andrea Clifton and Aleesa Nelson. The Zeniths team members were Matt Johnson, Eric Nordquist, Scott Clifton, Joseph Johnson, James Smith, Wes Gurney, Dustin Godionton, Andrew Beres, Joel Heath and Kevin Longan. & A £ £ A £ ANNUAL SENIORS CARNIVAL Please mark your calendar for Sept. 22, Friday, from 3 to 7 pm to be held in the Arena.
