Snap button 2495 The Alberta Temple was the scene of a laovely wedding on Friday evening, August 17, 1984 as Geri (Geraldine) Low and Mark David Lowry were married for time and all eternity. Brother Nyal A. Fletcher performed the ceremony. Geri is the youngest daughter of Lorin and Sarah Gibb Low and Mark the second son of David and Carol Lowry. A family dinner was held with Lois Bourne, Bessie Cook serving. A reception honoring the previous to the ceremony and Marguerite Thomson STRAWS ) New Polo Pyjamas in Cotton/Polyester. Sally Walburger was the flower girl. Chris Hale from Salt City was the best man with Greg Bourne and Brent Lowry as groomsmen. A short program was presented during the evening. Following the reception, the happy couple left for a short honeymoon. They will be making their home in Edmonton where they both are attending school. There are positive choices in the abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, but this is offset at times by the consumption of quick foods like ham­burgers, hot dogs, good tasting potato salad and high calorie beverages. The heat at this time of year tends to cause us to take shortcuts. Two members showed us the persistence we need. Phyllis Layton and Carol Passey had the best losses for the month of July. Pyllis Layton has achieved her final goal in weight loss and on July 24th became our first K.O.P.S. in waiting. The Club memb­ers are happy to congratulte her success. We welcomed a new member to last month. Anyone else who is on her the Club interested may phone Joanne Takacs, evenings. Mark is a third year student at the University Ottawa majoring in Music Composition, studying with Jean-Paul Savilla.
