Most of those who expressed an interest wanted the pictures for the Christmas season. Because of the timing we would not have been able to have them then and so the council decided to hold off for now and either book it in the spring or go ahead and book now for next year at an earlier date so as to accomodate the Christmas season. Do not forget Santa's Secret Shop-this is a project sponsored by the Magrath Home and School Council and will take place December 3, 4, and 5 at the school. The beautiful candle light ceremony took place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 1991 at McKillop United Church. The bride wore a beautiful fitted dress with sequins and pearls carried a boquet of lillies, lace & tulle. Matron of Honor was sister of the bride Shelley McFadden wearing a beautiful purple taffeta party dress. Junior bridesmaid was Ashlee Degenstein. Ring bearer and Flower girl (stealing the whole show) were D. J. Samantha McFadden, niece &. nephew of the Bride. The groom was dressed in a sharp double breated black tux. Best man was Paul of 9, and & Stryker-best friend of the groom. A beautiful hot roast beef dinner was enjoyed by all at the Italian Canadian Club. Master of Ceremonies was Al Foder, brother-in-law of the groom. The Toast to the Bride was given by brother-in-law of the bride, Dan McFadden. The Hall was decorated in purple and white tulle, lace & pearls, with live flower centerpieces. An enjoyable dance foiled the reception. The happy couple are off to Mexico in January for their honeymoon. We would like to thank everyone who made Danny & Lori's day so very special. Pre-registration for cloggin classes starting on January 8 to March 11 will be held at my house, #10 Mountain View Trailer Court on Monday night, December 16 from 7 pm - 9 pm. those who were interested in our last classes but were unable to attend Now is the time! All you have to do is: be interested in good exercise and have a desire to learn. We have been having a great time and would like to have some more clogging friends. The classes will be held on Wednesday Nights at the Magrath School auditorium stage from 6 pm to 8 pm. Fees for this session are $30.00 for the ten lessons. Age limit is 6 years to 100 years. Hockey News: Magrath PeeWee Hockey Tournament November 9 & 11 Magrath PeeWees hosted a very sucessful hockey tournament. Competing were: Magrath, Lethbridge, Vulcan, Duchess, Medicine Hat and coaldale. Coaldale captured 1st place, taking home the trophy donated by the McKelvey Family. Medicine Hat placed second with trophies donated by Jack Mechanical Insulation. Our own Magrath placed 3rd - their trophies were donated by Ron Johnson, Prof. Corp. Accountant. Duchess wound up with 4th -trophies donated by Alfred Jones/Marc Heggie. The two remaining teams took home participation medalions donated by Cedar Signs. Game I - Magrath played Coaldale, coaldale on top 6-4. Goals and assists: Tyler Ferguson 1 g, Kinn Wetheralt 2g - 1 a; Matt Johnson 1 g - 1 a. Game 5 saw Magrath against Vulcan. Magrath winning 10-8.
